About Tippan
Tippan is living and working in Stockholm, Sweden.
Educated at The Beckmans Collage of Design 1963 – 1966. Since 1976 she is
a free-lance illustrator.
As an illustrator of fiction and fashion she has through the years been working with different
customers; eg. magazines, advertising companies, book publishers and fashion
companies as well as teaching at The Beckmans
School of Design.
During 1980’s and 1990’s she illustrated the fashion shows directly from the catwalk in Paris for the swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet (SvD).

Later works of Tippan
Since 1990, Tippan is working with oil painting as well. Significant for her work is her way of expressing people in different situations. As an autodidact, she is still exploring the nature of colours and she is playing with the possibilities and challenges of describing light/darkness.
